Dr. Ouma has undertaken and successfully completed several projects, programmes and assignments on Intellectual Property, Related issues and Governance and the rule of law in and these include

  1. Establishment growth, development and Management of the Kenya Copyright Board
  2. Reorganisation and strengthening of collective management organisations in Kenya,
  3. Formulation of Intellectual Property Development Plans for Liberia and Sierra Leone.
  4. Contributed to the formulation of the COMESA copyright Policy,
  5. Formulation of IP Policies and Strategies in Kenya and Ghana
  6. Traditional Knowledge Policy and Law in Kenya.
  7. Mid Term Review of the the Mid Term Plan II Kenya (Political Pillar)
